Transforming cities into cities of the future involves deploying new technologies that drive smart city innovation. The development of smart cities across the globe is spurred by governments’ increased infrastructure and ICT spending in the implementation of technologies for a wide range of city services such as healthcare, traffic, police, fire, citizen services, electricity, water and municipal operations. According to industry reports, the global smart city market is valued at US$1.565 trillion in 2020 and over 26 Global Cities are expected to transform to Smart Cities in 2025. It is also estimated that within the same timeframe, there will be more than 40 to 50 billion connected devices that will transform the way we live and work.
This Marcus Evans large scale event will provide a one-stop-platform to discover and discuss the latest trends and technologies in Smart Cities, design,  Mobility and Utilities sector and its strategic use of new and high-tech, ICT-based solutions to connect the citizens and technologies of the city on a common platform.

Follow Your Own Agenda with The Following Streams To Choose From:
Stream One: Smart Governance
This stream will be highlighting the role of the governments and concept of smart cities and technologies, how governments to government, government to public, government to private sector and public to government and all communicate. This has put government entirely at different role and place one hand side technology has given government deep access to information and more effective decision making tools but other side government must legislate (Policy making, laws, privacy and security  rules and regulation etc) and facilitate (people, private sector, investors etc) the economic growth.

Stream Two: Smart Mobility
This stream will be showcasing how to transform Public Transportation and leveraging Smart Technology Solutions.  Multi modal fare integration and use multiple modal options without hassle of purchasing different tickets and how intelligent traffic management can aid efficient traffic flow.

Stream Three: Smart Urban Design & Development
Sustainability is integral part of Smart Design and intrusion of Information and Communication technologies has flipped the paradigm of urban designers to be pre-emptive and flexible to accommodate future Urban Growth and technological advancements.  This Streamline will focus on contemporary design strategies to create liveable, social, connecting and engaging communities, further more world’s leading Smart City’s case studies will demonstrate the practical implementation of ICTs and how its changing Cities Urban Fabric to tackle Urbanisation drive Economic growth and neutralise Environmental Challenges.
